I've been trying to get a Haskell interpreter/compiler on my Powerbook. (I say "I've been trying" because the fink port of Hugs is way old and the new one doesn't compile, so I looked into fixing it.) I figure if I'm gonna use a weird language for my toy projects, I may as well use the weirdest one and learn something while I'm at it.
It turns out that ashley_y, who I mostly remember as being one of those guys who leaves crabby comments in LJ news posts (and, sure enough, one of his most recent posts discusses how he gets paid user features without paying for it), is the Hugs (a haskell interpreter) port maintainer for fink.
