smalltalk

I’ve been writing Squeak (aka Smalltalk) code for a few weeks, creating a final project for my programming languages class. It’s been pretty fun, though Squeak’s interface is a bit frustrating, and I’m pretty happy with what I’ve written. I’m sure zenspider—who I hear is an accomplished Smalltalk programmer—would scream bloody murder if he saw it, but I think I’m doing better than others would’ve.

Writing Smalltalk is fun, if only to revel in the vision of the thing. And, of course, it feels quite a bit like Ruby... (Though I must say, the class library is insane!)
