google ime

Japanophiles might be interested to learn that Google released a Japanese IME. IME is the sort of NLP problem that Google is nearly uniquely equipped to kinda completely nail, so I expect this will be good. (It also helps that Taku is behind it.)

(PS: lest this post make it seem otherwise, my Japanese ability is only to the level where I can occasionally get the gist of some sentences from the post. But "日本語入力ソフトウェア (インプットメソッド)" is kinda obvious.)
