display content in firefox

A while ago I bitched about Firefox not being able to display text/* mime-types, and the very talented Tony even hacked up an extension that sorta worked but had some problems (which I forget now, because I eventually uninstalled it).

Today I discovered there's a more-featureful extension to force files to open in the browser available. In a beautiful ironic twist, the extension install link itself is not loaded properly by Firefox ("server misconfiguration"). In any case, if it works: hooray.

(That "hooray" gets no exclamation mark because this is just repairing something that was broken to begin with.)
