salt

An old friend of mine classified people as salt or nuts.

I realized recently that I think of blogs in the same way: some people just point at other content, while the ones I like best are the sources, the originators of ideas and content. I find the former category a little depressing -- see, for example, the sorts of posts that link to the Google blog -- and aspire for this LiveJournal to be the latter. So every time I end up posting a link to something I sorta feel like I've let myself (and you) down. I suppose the proper solution would be to join one of those newfangled link-exchanging thingies.

Tech: I got nothin'. What are you working on that you're excited about?
