Yeah, if it were just the time, that wouldn't be so bad. I can find time to figure out the debian packaging scheme, and I found 80 hours to develop a presentation on cryptography, so I know I can make the time ... it's just the exposure I really need.
By exposure I just mean places like the ACM lounge, where I can talk with lots of people about ideas, and in general just expose myself to interesting ideas to go play with. I work now as the head of IT for a smallish organization (70 people or so), but there are only a few technologically savvy people there, as we're a weatherstation company. I have an interview with Google on Thursday, though, we'll see how that pans out.
