xchat for windows shareware

X-Chat for Windows is shareware(!), sorta.

The program is still GPL, and by the GPL they still distribute source. And if you build binaries you may distribute them for free. But if you want to use their prebuilt binaries, they include a nag screen unless you pay $20.

This is pretty great: legal and just as the GPL intended, but they filter out all the Windows users who don't contribute back.
