summer of code

I sent out my first emails today to the people I'll be mentoring for the Summer of Code. I'm pretty excited about all of the projects we'll be funding, including all of those that are under other organizations.

I really wish I was a student again; I would've signed up for this in a second. (Actually, I effectively did do this back when I was a student, but nobody ever paid me...)

One of the projects I'm mentoring for involves Cairo, Gtk, and Haskell. It's as if they just made up something based on my interests!
